I have some lampstands and shades for sale for £70.

Made this lampshade from fabric and sticky backing at excellent course at IEKO  in Lewes

Made from 1/2 meter fabric, sticky backing, 2 lamp rings and sticky tape – with lots of help.

Rather beautiful on a twisted wooden lamp stand.

Upcycled lampshade

I’m very pleased with this lampshade which was rescued from the local recycling centre – the dump as I call it.

It had been thrown away as someone had splashed white gloss paint over it – but that did not deter me!

I’m on trend if you saw Sarah Millican’s BBC show – lots of lampshades!

Upcycled mirrors from found objects

I’ve found some wonderful battered things at a Lewes car boot sale to upcycle to make into mirrors.

One is made from an old garden sieve. Another from a window from a Dutch barn – both are rusty but I like that.

The mirrors have been cut and sealed by a skillful Lewes glass cutter.

Looking for Lewes makers – textiles, jewellery, homeware
