I have some lampstands and shades for sale for £70.
Here are some of them – email jenny@ridgwellpress.com if you would like to purchase one.
Made this lampshade from fabric and sticky backing at excellent course at IEKO in Lewes
Made from 1/2 meter fabric, sticky backing, 2 lamp rings and sticky tape – with lots of help.
Rather beautiful on a twisted wooden lamp stand.
Lewes Antiques Centre
20 Cliffe High Street Lewes BN7 2AH 01273 476148
Walk past Bills and carry on towards St Thomas Church – Lewes Antiques Centre is past Real Eating on the left hand side.
Climb the stairs up and up until you get to a sign Attic – my shop is on the right hand side – you walk through it to get to the next room.
Features 1960s-70s gorgeous things!
I’m very pleased with this lampshade which was rescued from the local recycling centre – the dump as I call it.
It had been thrown away as someone had splashed white gloss paint over it – but that did not deter me!
I’m on trend if you saw Sarah Millican’s BBC show – lots of lampshades!
My lamp is not as patchwork as hers but rescue is good
Please get in touch if you make things in Lewes which could be sold on a website.
